DTLS stands for Datagram Transport Layer Security.
Simply put, DTLS is UDP + security.
What is DTLS?
DTLS provides similar security guarantees to that TLS provides.
DTLS is used in WebRTC for secure media key exchange in DTLS-SRTP.
