Not really. No.

You can use them for signaling, but that should be “secondary” in your considerations. Of higher importance is your media component. Look at Kurento as a viable alternative, or go for a full CPaaS (https://bloggeek.me/webrtc-paas-report/)

Thank you very much for your suggestions.
I have my site built on php and mysql (school education) with live video class ( between teacher and students ). I want to use WEBRTC for this live class.
I want video to be stored on my file serve after, live video session between teacher and students ( one to many connections) .

what i know so far is that role of a signaling server is to recognize peers (network address, ip addred etc) who want to connect and have live video session. ()

So can i use above saas providers you suggested for this signaling server?

Thanks for your time, your advice is always helpful. Sorry for this long comment.

Amresh,

I don’t really know, but why would you want that? The whole purpose of Jitsi is to act as an SFU – a media server that handles multiparty sessions.

Can JITSI api be used only for signaling server requirements.

I guess it got deleted after the acquisition of Firebase by Google.

See here for a fork on it, though not sure how maintained it is: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27098528/how-can-i-setup-firebase-signalling-server

True. And I am sure there are a few more that I have missed as well.
